Before a military unit is sent out, they are given a mission. It is then up to the lower level commanders to plan around that mission so that they accomplish it in the most efficient way. God has given each of us a mission in life. Along with this mission God has provided us with the resources and opportunities we will need to accomplish it. Understanding what your mission is will not only help you be a better steward or manager of God's resources, but it will also make life more exciting, fulfilling and satisfying.
